The First Chinese Traditional Medicine Center in Athens!

The opening ceremony of the Athens Chinese Traditional Medicine Centerwill take place on Wednesday 18 December at 13.30 at 12 Papanikoli & Menelaou Street in Chalandri.

In the presence of Greek government officials,and local government representatives,  Chinese officials, members of the Greek medical and business community, and scientists from the two countries, the Regional Governor of Attica and President and President of the InternationalHealth Tourism Center, Mr. George Patoulis   will cut the ribbon.

The Athens ChineseTraditional  Medicine Centeris the result of the collaboration of the China AnhuiUniversity of Chinese Medicine and of the  International Health Tourism Center.

The Athens ChineseTraditional  Medicine Center is implemented as a projectunder the Agreement of  scientific exchange of know-how and comparative scientific study that has been signed between the two parties aiming to  promote scientific research and practice through the convergence of  Western Medicine principlesand Chinese Traditional Medicinepractices.

The first treatment units that will operate at the AthensChinese Traditional Medicine Center will combinethe traditional Eastern Medicinetreatments and methods of the Chinese doctors with the Westernmedical knowledge, theory and practise on various specialtiesfrom the part of Greek doctors.

The Center’s Chinese Traditional Medicine services are targeting the growing Chinese community living in Greece, which – according to the latest figures – exceeds the number of 20,000 visitors and travelers from China.

Greek patients also, who have switched to alternative treatments seek credible and authentic Chinese traditionalmedicine services of high-quality .

Diseases such as back and neck pains, arthritis, migraine, eczema, depression and many more will be treated in a holistic way of scientific combination of Eastern and Western Medicinethrough the collaboration of Greek and Chinese doctors on research and practise .

The scientific and academic personnel of the Center provides to visitors from the East the sense of safety they seek in their travels, and creates a climate of bonding and hospitality.

The opening ceremony will be attended by the Minister of Tourism, Mr. Haris Theocharis, the Deputy Minister of Health, Mr. Vassilis Kontozamanis, the President of CHINA ANHUI UNIVERSITY OF CHINESE MEDICINE, Professor  Pen Dalyin, her excellency the Chinese Ambassador, Mr. ZHANG QIYOUP and academic representatives of the the Greek Universities.

The Athens Traditional Chinese Medicine Center will start offering its services  in the new year.
