On Saturday, December 7, 2019, from 1-5 pm, families are invited to a Greek Fest at the Greek International Food Market, 5204 Washington Street, West Roxbury. This specialty retailer of imported, hand-selected Greek food brands will offer an afternoon of fun for children and adults alike, including a visit from Santa Claus from 2-4 pm.
The event will be a celebration of the Greek International Food Market’s tenth anniversary in the West Roxbury community. In addition to the Greek International Food Market, businesses donating products/services to be raffled include Greek restaurant Farm Grill & Rotisserie, Emerald Cleaners, Dedham Tire, Dedham Liquor, Alley’s Boxing, Target Pizza, and Royal Auto Tops.
With holiday music in the background, individuals will be able to sample a wide array of Greek specialties, including wine/beer, feta and yellow cheese, Cretan honey, fig preserves, extra virgin olive oil, spinach and cheese pies and homemade desserts. Featured vendors will include Yiannis Distributing (wine and beer), Costas Provisions, Olympiana Real Imported Greek Food, Krinos Foods and Eva’s Pastries.
