Passenger traffic at Piraeus, Rafina and Lavrio hikes ahead of Thursday's holiday

Passengers traffic in ports of Piraeus, Rafina and Lavrio is expected to hike on Wednesday due to the holiday of the Dormition of Virgin Mary on Thursday.
A total of 21 ferries are scheduled to depart from Piraeus, 13 from Rafina and 5 from Lavrio.
On Tuesday, 26 ferries with 24,779 passengers and 3,949 vehicles, 68 trucks and 202 motorcycles left from Piraeus for the Aegean islands.
13 ferries left from Rafina carrying 6,961 passengers and 1,293 vehicles and five ferries sailed from Lavrio with 1,592 passengers and 450 vehicles.
The port authorities recommended those due to travel to be at the port one hour before the time of departure.
