Antetokounmpo brothers to be reunited, as Thanasis agrees to sign two-year contract with the Milwaukee Bucks

Two of the Antetokounmpo brothers are being reunited.

Giannis Antetokounmpo’s older brother, 26-year-old Thanasis has agreed to sign a two-year contract with the Milwaukee Bucks.

According to Shams Charania, the NBA’s senior lead insider, writer and analyst for The Atlantic, Thanasis is set to sign a fully guaranteed two year, US$3 million veteran’s minimum deal.

Following a season in the G-League with the Delaware 87ers, in 2014 he was the Knicks’ 51st pick of the draft.

He spent two seasons with the Knicks and their G-League team, the Westchester Knicks, and returned to Europe in 2016.

Nicknamed the ‘Greek Streak’, following in his brother’s footsteps, he has sometimes been referred to as ‘Greek Freak 2’.

There will be two sets of brothers playing for the Bucks next season; along with Giannis and Thanasis, there will be Brook and Robin Lopez.
